I love when folks ask me Fandom Old questions and I get to be like "Yeah, uh, that's from my old online RP group, no it's not canon at all, yes we just made it up, no we did not claim it was canon but the mid to late aughts were a strange time."
It's honestly a shock to realize how often this has happened. I mentioned earlier that Reno's fanon surname came from this same group, but that's not even the half of it. I once made a bunch of screenshot manips based on the most ridiculous ships anyone could think of—someone slapped a random line of text onto one of them and to this day it's used as a "cringe FF7 fandom" meme. I saw it on the twits a bit back and almost fell out of my goddamn chair.
If you've ever heard Scarlet referred to with the surname "West," read about Tseng fighting with metal fans, seen Elena's older sister being called Anna instead of Emma, come across Vincent portrayed as having a PhD in spite of being a Turk, or caught references somewhere to Grimoire experimenting on Vincent as a child, that started with this group. That was us.
One of the funniest examples of this, for me specifically, is that we don't actually know which arm Veld is missing? The fandom generally goes with his left because that's how I drew him in the first picture of the guy ever posted on devart way back in 2005, but it may very well be his right. I've seen people offer "proof" that it's his right based on a scene in the opening cutscene, but you can't tell there either, and with BC's graphics there's literally no way to tell on his sprite.
Hell, this year we found out everyone's assumed timeline of the Kalm fire is wrong, and that's our fault too because we made some assumptions about Felicia's age for an LJ RP that were entirely wrong. She's around Zack's age, not Sephiroth's! She's old enough to run with a terrorist group in BC, but she was a child when Kalm burned, and that happened in 1997—we know this because NPCs in Rebirth literally refer to the fire in Kalm having happened "just ten years ago." Veld has only had his prosthetic for three years when BC starts. (This also implies that, contrary to popular belief, Veld may actually be younger than Vincent. Vincent may have been the senior partner, and that's why he was sent to Nibelheim alone while Veld was left at headquarters.)
We were really wrong on this! But we were working with what we had. There's no canon evidence for the vast majority of these things (the most notable exclusion here is Vincent being educated) but we weren't claiming there was. We were filling gaps, and canon was so sparse that we had a lot of gaps to fill. So if it turns out that Veld lost his right arm, then I'll just have to start drawing him that way—because losing his left was never canon.
Tragically, there's nothing any of us can do to make people stop assuming these things are canon at this point; there aren't a lot of us still in the fandom, and it's not like any of us have those old chatlogs anymore. People from this RP group have DIED since those days. It's been over 20 years since most of us met, and around 15 since most of us were in a public fannish space together.
"Prove it," people say, and I literally can't. Do you know how many computers I've been through since then? 75% of the platforms we used no longer exist. This all started on a BBCode forum! There is no proof!
But...there's no evidence any of these things are canon, either, so maybe think about that? The Kalm fire, Tseng's weapon of choice, Veld's arm, character surnames—none of these are retcons because there was no lore there to retcon. We made it up for our specific purposes, and it escaped containment in an era when there was really no way to do online contact tracing.
It's just one of the weirdest feelings in the world to see younger folk arguing about A or B point in canon, about X or Y retcon—referencing something my friends and I thought up at like 10 o'clock at night on a now-defunct IM client in August of 2005, because we needed something to refer back to for a specific scene in an RP and the source material had nothing to offer.
Absolutely fucking bonkers.

ok copying this from my twitter. i got really mad at saw 3 last night and rewrote it to fix amanda's arc
sorry if the character stuff is way off base or if it's worded weirdly i just needed to fix (gestures vaguely in the direction of saw 3) all of that
ok for things I actually did like. i actually liked the dynamic between amanda and john for the most part bc it has the potential for some really powerful character moments for amanda. not that they did anything with that but there was potential!
and amanda being the one responsible for the saw 1 trap & making sure adam was actually dead was also good imo
now what fucking gets me about this godforsaken mistake of a movie is that amanda never really. grows or develops? even if she's arguably one of the main characters of a movie. her arc never gets completed
now there is a time and a place for tragic characters who have incomplete arcs but it really felt like the writer's either wanted everyone to die for shock value or couldn't figure out a way to justify her staying alive
the big thing I'd fix here is the bathroom trap flashbacks -- im assuming u guys haven't watched saw 3 so ill give a quick tldw [note most of the ppl who follow the account i posted this on aren't that big into horror so they haven't watched any of the saw movies]
tldw: in the first movie adam is left locked in the bathroom, still alive but with no way to escape. in the third theres a flashback scene where amanda comes in, checks to see if he's alive, and upon seeing he is she asphyxiates him with a plastic bag
my big issue here is that. there was a chance to have a really good, concise breaking point for amanda's character. she (at least imo) was remourseful while she was killing him and they just did nothing with that
quick sidenote tangent about amandas character; she's very much traumabonded to john/jigsaw. upon getting out she made the connection in her head that jigsaw helped her, because the trap made her go sober.
when she became an apprentice, she was likely manipulated by john into thinking she was important to him on a personal level -- some of this can even be seen in the third movie itself (john giving amanda approval by affirming that she's important to him, but almost immidiately after rescinding it when she doesn't do what he wants)
but it's clear that amanda is like. fully invested in john and sees him as a father to her, or something akin
so back on track. for the bathroom flashbacks, I really really think it would be a really good scene for her arc if she let adam live
it could give her a moment to realize that she doesn't need to do what john says and that she can fight back
not necessarily escaping entirely, but having that power dynamic in her head shift a little by her realizing her autonomy
after adam is out, she lets those feelings sit for a while. doesn't really do anything with them until the end of the movie
on the standoff between lynn and amanda i would have loved it if she just shot john and not just because i hate him
it would be a last ditch act to have her own power and to not be controlled by him anymore. she shoots him, and he dies
of course this means that lynn would die too, and jeff would probably still kill amanda but at least it would be a satisfying death, knowing that even though she's dead she didn't die wholly helpless. if that makes sense

rey! do you have any recs for kdramas? i have never watched any, but i like lovable characters and romance ? thank you in advance!
Tumblr media
I DO IN FACT HAVE DRAMA RECS HII not all of these will be kdramas, but ill start with the kdramas ive watched and enjoyed and ill include all the warnings for them that i can remember off the top of my head and a brief synopsis for u!
kdramas-
1. weight lifting fairy kim bok joo
this was probably one of the first kdramas i saw people post about in like 2015 and i watched a little bit of it in 2016 but then only just got around to finishing it last year. the basic gist of it is its about a young sports college weight lifter, kim bok joo, centering around her navigating through her life and trying to figure out who she is and what she wants in life and what she wants to be. her romantic interest in the show is a swimmer and they have a sort of rivals to friends to lovers, he is SO in love with her and its adorable. i absolutely loved the side characters in this show theyre all so fun and kim bok joos best friends and weight lifting team are especially delightful. my main warning would be that this show addresses eating disorders and theres a lot of mention of both weight gain and weight loss, theres also a plot point early on where kim bok joo has a crush on her eventual love interests older brother but it gets resolved and the older brother literally goes "i didnt realize you had a crush on me and if i knew that i wouldnt have been so friendly with you, it would be completely innapropriate for us to be in a relationship". overall its a really sweet and emotional fun show but if you have issues with weight talk id skip this one
2. tale of the nine tailed
this one is really recent from last year and i didnt expect to be so hooked by it but boy howdy did i get attached to all the characters and the wild plot. it feels hard to explain the plot but basically a nine tailed fox named lee yeon is living in modern day seoul and is working for the underworld finding paranormal spirits/creatures/other rogue foxes that are causing havoc on the world, hes resigned himself to living this life while waiting for his girlfriend who died tragically 600 years ago to come back to life because he traded his status as a mountain god in order to ensure that her soul would one day be reincarnated. a plucky investigative journalist named nam ji ah figures out that hes not human and shenanagins ensue because she looks exactly like his dead girlfriend oooooo whatll happen. the plot beyond that gets really wild and its hard to explain and is easier to just watch. if u enjoy paranormal adventures this one is good. my one big complaint and issue with this is that the immortal mountain spirit meets his original girlfriend when shes a child and she continues to visit him off and on as she grows up which is Hm I Dont Like That! but thankfully the present time romance our female lead meets him when shes about 30 if im remembering right. also warnings for general fantasy violence, references to child abuse, animal death, and abandonment issues
3. extraordinary you
HUGE unreality warning for this. if you have issues with feeling unreal or have paranoia/delusions about not being a real person id avoid this one just because of its premise
ok i know i said tale of the nine tailed was a hard plot to explain but BOY extraordinary you is even HARDER to explain. because its so wild but so good. its about a girl who realizes that she is literally a side character in a comic book, and the story becomes her trying to change the story to save her character from dying but it becomes a lot more than that. the romance in this is literally tooth achingly sweet and the show itself is very pretty, i loved the side characters in this one and the show was engaging and interesting to watch it became really layered and meta. super reccomend this one honestly. my main issues/warnings that i can remember off the top of my head were just one character being the classic controlling boyfriend stereotype, bullying someone specifically for being poor, unreality like i mentioned before, and then at the very end there was this love interest for a side character who got reincarnated from a past piece of writing that they had been in and put in the comic but she was a student and he was the school cook which is weird but thankfully they like barely interact at all and theres no real romance he just like recognizes her and its barely a thing at the end of the show but its still weird
4. mystic pop up bar
big warning for suicide, sexual harrasment (which is framed as being bad and the guy whos harrassing the girl literally gets thrown off a roof)
i havent finished this one yet and thats mainly because im not emotionally ready because this one makes me soooo emotional. if you like found family this is a good one. its about a pop up bar run by a woman whos been tasked with solving the problems of a certain amount of people in order to atone for her crimes in the past before dying, shes able to enter the dreams of people and solve their issues using the information she gets in the dreams. paranormal shenanagins ensue, she acquires a son and a husband and it kills me its so fun and quirky and fun despite handling dark themes and peoples problems. also very sweet the found family murders me
5. kingdom (netflix original)
i literally am not going to be able to watch any other zombie media because kingdom and train to busan are the best pieces of zombie media ive ever seen. warnings for gore and violence and just general horror aspects.
i absolutely love this one its so thrilling and well done, i love the acting and the way that this show looks its absolutely gorgeous. a zombie plague breaks out in joseon period korea where the emperor has died and then was brought back to life by the queen and her father in a ploy to try and keep their family in political power, the crown prince must find answers. a lot more happens and its very dramatic and good i love the characters in this one
cdramas
1. the untamed. if you follow me and you havent watched the untamed im begging you to watch the untamed. literally one of the most beautiful stories ive experienced in my life i am not joking when i say i cried multiple times over it. the main characters are canonically gay in love and have a son together please watch the untamed. handles a lot of dark themes, heres a tw guide
2. the sleuth of the ming dynasty
this is another one i havent finished but its fun so far, very gay, found family, food, and solving murder mysteries during the ming dynasty
3. hikaru no go (also known as qi hun)
havent finished this one, there is some propaganda about hong kong in the first episode but as far as i know thats the only instance of something like that in the show
this ones about the game go and so far its very sweet and fun, local boy awakens a ghost who was a master of the game of go hundreds of years ago and eventually is persuaded to learn how to play go with the aid of the ghost. im really liking this one so far its very cute and i love the characters in it. if youve watched the untamed nie huaisangs actor ji li is in this one!
4. the legend of yunqian
this ones very short and on youtube, all the episodes are about 5 minutes long and its a lesbian time travel fantasy adventure with a happy ending! funny and cute
jdramas
1. cherry magic
please please please watch cherry magic. the premise sounds very much like a weird yaoi kind of thing but trust me on this. trust me. it is so heart warming and sweet and i was so emotional about it and the growth of the main character.
adachi gains the power to read peoples minds on his 30th birthday based off a urban legend that if youre a 30 year old virgin that youll become a wizard. after gaining this power he accidentally finds out that his extremely popular and handsome coworker has a crush on him, and shenanagins ensue along with adachi having blossoming feelings in return. this show was really refreshing in a lot of ways, adachi is a main character who like.. is unsure of himself and insecure in a very kind of realistic way, he closes himself off and is afraid to reach out to people and through the course of the show we see him slowly come out of his shell and realize that hes likeable and lovable and that people want to be around him and its so nice to see. my main complaint about this show is that i dont really like the background couple, but otherwise this is a very sweet and refreshing gay romance that has a happy ending!
some others that i myself havent seen but that ive seen people talk about a lot and that i want to watch eventually:
- the legend of fei (cdrama)
- the wolf (cdrama)
- gaurdian (cdrama, not the kdrama one called goblin)
- healer (kdrama, i did watch some of this one but it was in 2016 and i never finished it so i barely remember any of it but i do remember liking it)
- nobody knows (kdrama)
- its ok to not be ok (kdrama)
sorry this is so long but i hope youll be able to find a drama u enjoy!!

#Knock The Book 2: The Devil All the Time
WELL, I MADE IT TO THE 2nd BOOK REVIEW OF MINE, MEANS THAT I’M A PASSIONATE AND PERSISTENT BITCH, PERIODT. No actually I’m just bored and got really nothing to do, so here I am making judgmental, invalid and uncritical book review just to ease my guilt for doing nothing at home (just so my mom see me working through my laptop).
Okay The Devil All the Time is actually my first English book. The story of how I got this book as a matter of fact is quite irritating and funny at the same time. My uni friend, she saw this book in a modest book bazaar near her hometown. She was reading the title and the word ‘devil’ just remind her of me, she bought it and just gave it straight to me…... I’m sad but like thankful???
It’s a secondhand and hardcover book but I don’t really mind, considering the fact that the quality is still very nice though, except the worn spots stained all over the cover that make the book looks very old. My friend bought this only for RP 25.000, yes dude you’re not misread this shit, it was THAT CHEAP (whoever sell and own this book before me, I really appreciate it). Although if you want to buy the new one, you can get this book for USD 26.95 which converted in rupiah would be RP 407.500, yeah its cost pretty fancy for broke students like us and I don’t know if the book’s supposed to be available in your local bookstore but I think you can find it in worldwide shipping online store like amazon or any other shop perhaps. The book’s cover illustrate a dying white mutt hanging on the ‘log’ and bunch of cross everywhere, the cover is actually make sense when you read the book. It published in 2011 by doubleday in United States of America. The Author is Donald Ray Pollock, and you can find the sum information about his background written on the cover, but based form the book’s cover you can also check his website in donaldraypollock.com but when I checked, I’m not sure if it’s really his website since it just like pest control website (LMAOO I HAD NO IDEA FR). Anyway,
Let’s go breaking down the book!
“… Too much religion could be as bad as too little, maybe even worse, but moderation was just not in her husband’s nature”
The whole story in this book, basically give you portraits regarding the life of lunatics in the time after WWII. Nope, there is no sums up about the events happened in that moment so chill y’all non-historical enthusiast bitches. This book gonna give you a bizarre experience reading it, the first 10 pages of this book was already psychedelic, I assure that shit. Have you watched Games of Thrones series on HBO? It’s chilling right how Ned Stark, the protagonist of the main series died in the first season???? EXACTLY that was the vibes u got after reading the first chapter and get crazier every time u read forward. By the way, this book embodied 7 chapters and 55 sub-chapters, the chapter in odd and even numbers has 2 different main focuses on each characteristic exist, here I sum it up for you:
On the odd numbers chapters (1, 3, and so on), the central story of these chapters is circling among the family of Willard Russel, his Mom Emma and Uncle Earskell and also those 2 insane peeps Roy Laferty and Theodore. Willard Russel used to be a navy army and a bit skeptical dealing with religion issues just like his uncle, but his mom has always been a devoted worshiper. Willard married to the beautiful and kind-hearted women named Charlotte and they was given a son named Arvin Eugene Russel, everything was normal until Charlotte got sick and Willard gone crazy praying to god for his wife’s recovery and poor little Arvin has to suffer the predicament by his own self. Their stories always give me religious-fanaticism-gloomy vibes (is that even make sense??). Don’t even get me started with the life stories of the two brutes-ass man, Roy Laferty and Theodore they were used to be ‘preacher’ in Emma and young Willard’s Church. Nothing I could say further because it’s gonna be a major spoiler for you, but their stories really giving you insights of how frustration and fanaticism allow people to do something beyond their common sense.
“You remember what I told you the other day?” He asked Arvin
“About the boys on the bus?,”
“Well, that’s what I meant, you just got to pick the right time”
On the even numbers chapters (2, 4, and so on), the main tales is pertaining on the journey of Handerson couple, Carl and Sandy. They were like the Bonnie and Clyde but sad and exploitative version in this book. Carl is a ‘photographer’ and sandy working as a waitress in a café called Wooden Spoon (Which the place where Charlotte used to work as a waitress and the place she met Willard for the first time as well). During summertime they got this ‘ritual’ ((but not in a religious way)) where they drive to different states and give a ride to the hitchhikers found on the way, then Carl forcefully offer them to fuck Sandy for free (HIS OWN WIFE) while he took pictures of them fucking and after that Carl kill them and take all the money those hitchhikers got in their pocket (dude I can’t even judge anything). But to be honest, I’m not a fan of these two characters because they were all so ANNOYING to death. And then there is Bodecker Lee who’s a police and also Sandy’s brother, ok that’s it, I’m not gonna give you any spoilers.
“… He went down the street and sat on a bench in a park the rest of the day thinking about killing himself instead. Something broke in him that day. For the first time he could see that his whole life added up to absolutely nothing…”
You might be confused since there are quite a lot of keen characters in this book but there’s a point where all these bitches are relating to each other, so chill y’all impatient gripe-ass. Overall, the flow of the story is undoubtedly interesting for you to keep going throughout the whole story, because every phase gonna make you wondering about next things happened to them. But, the transitions among every chapters is quite uncomfortable for me, because sometimes when the story has reached its climax there is no resolutions coming to solve the problem immediately, and you’re faced to read the new chapter with a whole different setting and characters so it’s kind of ruining the vibes and emotions the book has made me, but again this just my personal preference so please don’t judge (while everything I did right now is judging inaccurately).
“He realized that he would never preach again, but that was all right. He’d never been much good at it anyway. Most people just wanted to hear the cripple play”
However, what I like the most from this book is the deepening of every character exists is so fascinating, even for just the side or supporting character (for god sake I’m sorry idk what to called a character that isn’t the main one), for example a bus driver in Meade, Ohio which Willard talked to when he was on the way home after the war ended, the narration wrapped and portraits the driver’s life perfectly without make us bored, and there’s still a bunch of interesting narration about the life of the side characters in this book that also as odds and intriguing as the main character’s background (jesus, everything happened and everyone in this book is just so strange and peculiar I swear to god). The story finished in a most tragic-beautiful but still gloomy way, even though it’s quite predictable but still a very good closing for me personally. To be noted, on the way to the end of the story, there will be emerge another asshole priest character named Preston Teagardin, ready to shake you up until you finish the book. But still, let’s said this particular ‘last minute character’ has proving that the author is paying so much attention of how the story ended isn’t leaving any 'rush-made' impression (this shit might confused you I’m sorry my English hasn’t got any better *sorry hand sign* *sorry hand sign* *sorry hand sign*). # hashtag attention to the detail bro.
Holy crap, that’s the first time I’m almost able to cut all the bullshit I intend to bring it up here.
This book is one of my top 5 books that you have to read once in a life time (although I haven’t discover the other four, omg im sorry y’all). Little information for you that the first time I read this book (yeah I read it for quite few times) is when the campaign of presidential election era, which in Indonesia the religious are pretty sentimental issues, some of the people in my country suddenly became those annoying fanatical preachers, man I can’t stand it. And this book is just precisely relating to that condition and I get to know at least a glance of what the heck odds things happened in their minds, since you know fanaticism and stupidity doesn’t hit only on particular group of religions, race, gender or anything, we can all be stupid and brainless (especially me because I basically have no brain). There probably quite many scenes that is pretty disturbing to read (I don’t know if people could be triggered by it???? But I guess so) so yeah a bit warning. Overall, I genuinely recommend this book for you guys because every element in this book is almost perfect, the storylines, bold characters, and the RARE AND STRANGE AND SENSITIVE topic promote by the author in this novel is totally a BOOM. Don’t worry reading this book not going to give you those agnostic and atheist vibes HAHA chill I still consider myself a devoted Muslim tho (hashtag masyaallah ukthi).
By the way before I wrapped it up, I hear that this book will be made into a netflix film. WELL, of course I’m excited because the casts are so amazing, and I love Netflix adaptation and I enjoy watch movies as much as I read books (again, unnecessary information of mine *sorry hand sign*). I found that the release date is postponed from the origin plan in 15th May (which is three days ago from I posted this on my page) due to I don’t know perhaps corona because that bitch has ruined everyone in the world’s schedule, but for real I can’t find the exact information regarding to the updated release date, so while you wait the film to launch, why don’t you just go read the book first? I assure you this one not gonna give you any disappointment.
I think that would be it for this 2nd rubbish book review of mine. Although, I think I made a little progressive from the first one (OR MAYBE NOT???? I’M SORRY Y’ALL) but of course there’s still much deficiency I served. Still, I hope my writing get better in the process of making this whole novel of reviewing book inaccurately. To be honest, I wrote this shit not for getting any engagements or audience but for my own satisfied HAHA. So yeah I’m literally comfortable writing for nothing. But bitch guess what I’m just gonna keep going, until I could professionally writing and make it for a living? Well, amen for that.
Xiao, See you in Advance!

Jessie’s Plotting guide
Tagged by: @deadworlddenizens
Want new-and-exciting plots for your character? Long to reach out to more of your followers, but don’t know where to start? Fear not! Fill out this form and give your RP partners both present and future all the of juicy jumping off points they need to help you get your characters acquainted.
Be sure to tag the players whose characters YOU want more cues to interact with, and repost, don’t reblog! Feel free to add or remove sections as you see fit. Template here.
Mun Name: Paige
OOC Contact: IMs are the best way of getting to me. I do have Skype and Discord, however I don’t really use them very much. Asks are a tricky thing for me with OOC so if you want me to be sure you want to talk OOC send me an IM.
Who the heck is my muse anyway:
Jessie is a young woman in her early twenties who is a member of Team Rocket and the leader of her squad. A rough life has rendered her fierce and defensive over those she views as hers. She is not one to handle lightly, and despite her tough exterior, she is very fragile.
Points of interest:
*Jessie’s true personality - Many see her as the loud, overbearing member of Team Rocket. She is rude, offensive, selfish, and holds no care for anyone else’s feelings. However, these are all defense mechanisms she put in place specifically because if she hadn’t, she wouldn’t have survived her life. If someone can get around her wall of defenses she’s created, they might be quite surprised.  *Jessie’s past - Jessie’s past has been littered with heartbreak and abuse. She has spent most of her days homeless, and nearly all of them without family or anyone close to her. She won’t talk about this often, she loathes pity and refuses it. However, perhaps some empathy would go a long way.  *Jessie’s Mother - When she was five years old, her mother left for a mission to find Mew and never returned. What she remembers of her mother, she loves and cherishes. Her mother is her only evidence she ever had a family, or ever had anyone who cared about her. She constantly goes back in thought to her mother, and it is a huge factor for why she’s in Team Rocket now.  *Jessie’s dreams - Jessie had many dreams growing up. She’s wanted to be a pokemon trainer, a pokemon nurse, a performer. She went to school to become a pokemon nurse only to have the entire system screw her over. She auditioned for a performance school, but her friends made it in. She didn’t. Now her dreams are more realistic (well, for the normal person, to her they’re impossible). She wants to get married and have a quiet life. She longs for stability.  *Jessie’s mental health - Her life has continued to beat her down with a stick until she can’t move anymore. She’s been abused, neglected, forgotten, rejected, and ignored. A slew of traumatic experiences have rendered her with anxious tendencies, panic attacks, ptsd, and depression. Though she doesn’t realize it. She has never been in a safe place to make sense of these feelings. She just knows she gets angry and she gets panicked and she gets afraid and more, but no one has ever spoken to her or cared about her enough to help. She doesn’t realize there’s anything wrong except for just her. She is on the verge of breaking.
What they’ve been up to recently:
*Main Verse - Jessie has recently gotten news back from Headquarters about her mother. Her mother is alive, and has been communicating with Team Rocket over the years. Jessie is immediately heartbroken, but she has no idea how to voice these feelings- her mother, the woman she loved so dearly didn’t want her. Would rather have been dead than be her mother. Of course, the actual situation is a lot more complicated, but Jessie doesn’t know that.  *AU- New Beginnings - After a plan gone terribly awry, Jessie finds herself grieving her two best friends and alone in the world again. Out of mercy, she has been allowed to pursue her old childhood dream of being a Pokemon Nurse. A month has passed since the events, and she’s focusing on studying- if she allows herself much time to rest her mind will focus on her lost friends. *Older Verse -  In her mid-forties, Jessie has married her longtime sweetheart James (based off of the epilogue of the manga). Years of starvation and intense physical work left her almost completely infertile. However, by some miracle- she was able to conceive. In this verse, she has an eight-year-old girl named Miya, after her mother. She and James have a fashion salon where they do everything from hair to make-up to costume design.
Where to find them:
*Main Verse - She can be often found wandering towns alone, or pulling a scheme with James and Meowth. I often don’t feel comfortable writing fight scenes without prior planning, so I prefer having more emotional encounters.  *AU- New Beginnings - At Professor Oak’s place, mostly in the study room she uses. She usually has to be caught when out making tea. Sometimes she gets to a cafe to study.   *Older Verse -  At her salon or her house. She spends most of her time caring for Miya and booking clients, but she can be convinced to leave the house.
Current plans:
Currently, I would just like to expand on the three verses here. I want to add more depth to her, I want her to be able to open up and I want her to be able to gain some friends she feels she can talk to. Or even some mentors and motherly figures. I love plotting things out, so if you have any ideas please come to me!
Desired interactions:
*Open book - I would love someone, canon or OC, to gain her trust enough for her to really start talking about her life. Or at least her mother. It might be easier said than done though, she’s locked away these tears as best as she can - and if she starts talking about them it’s guaranteed to be a flood. But she’ll feel so much better afterwards.  *“Hey, you’re not so bad” - Especially with canon characters who know her when she’s putting on her Team Rocket show. Put them in a situation where Jessie can be more herself instead of the villain she’s had to be. Just resulting in realizing that perhaps they don’t always have to all be enemies. *Thelma and Louise without a tragic end -  I want Jessie to have friends. Especially female friends. A badass girl squad, really. She’s tough. There’s been a lot of talk in this post about her vulnerability, and while she is, she’s also incredibly strong. I’d love to be able to play with this.  *Jessie to the rescue! - Going off of the previous, I think there are definitely times Jessie will step in to save someone. If she saw a girl being harassed, or one of the twerps in serious danger, she’d step in. I always have a scenario in my mind of one of Ash’s female companions finding herself in a spot of trouble with pushy or predatory guys, and her stepping in because she’s been in the twerpette’s position and she wouldn’t wish it on anyone. And now, Jessie’s got the physical fighting skills to fully defend.  *Friends and Teammates - This is a little harder to fulfill, but I do always welcome squad interactions. I think the TR friendship is incredibly important and I love playing with it.
Offered interactions:
Of course, I’ll do any of the desired interactions. I will do more villainous encounters with Jessie, but I really need these plotted out first. I don’t think Jessie is inherently evil, despite what people say or think, so it’s harder for me to push that side of her. I need you to talk to me if you want her to be a pure villain.
I do also multiship, but I do need communication too. I want to know what you want and what you’re thinking so I know how to play my character.
Current open post/s:
The best way is to start through a meme or to start an IM conversation with me for plotting. I have a growing page of starters  that are always open. Multiple people can respond to the same starter. I don’t do well at flying by the seat of my pants, i get too anxious, but I love plotting.
Anything else?:
I love plotting. If you get me a character relationship that I adore, I will tell you all my headcanons as they form. I can easily talk and plot out a whole arc that gets me super excited if the situation is right. I love plotting. It gives me motivation. The story itself doesn’t have to be solidified, heavens no, but like- preplotting relationships so I’m excited to get to the end.
Tagging: anyone who hasn’t and wants to tbh. Still bad with tagging people XD Sorry!
